​I offer two live-event services to capture the unique beauty of your wedding day:

Watercolor Paintings
​​
Do you want to give your guests a keepsake to cherish? I create fashion forward watercolor paintings of your guests right at the event! Guests may stop by my table, where I'll take a reference photo to paint from, leaving them free to enjoy the event. Most couple paintings only take about 10 minutes to complete, after which they can stop by to pick them up. Or I can keep them all until after the event, so they can be included as a timeless memento with your thank-you notes!
Canvas Painting

Capture your unique love with an oil canvas painting that you will cherish forever. My paintings are full of color, energy and movement. I'll begin your painting at the event so that guests can see my process, and will bring it home to finish in my studio. My unique style is a fresh, contemporary twist on Impressionism that I developed while earning my Masters of Fine Art in painting in New Mexico.

Watercolor Paintings

I'll arrive up to one hour early to your event to setup my station.
​

During the event, ​guests stop by to have a reference photo taken. I'll then paint from the photo, while they enjoy the event!
​​​​

There may be multiple individuals per painting. ​
​

It normally takes about 6-7 minutes to paint an individual and 10-12 minutes for a couple. Larger groups may take longer.
​

I'll complete any unfinished paintings at home and they will be mailed within two weeks.
​

You will also receive a 9" x 12" wedding couple painting from a photo of your choosing!

I will need a 4-6 ft. table in an indoor or shaded outdoor area and a chair. I can provide a black tablecloth, or I'll be happy to use one that matches the color scheme of your decor.​​​​

I'll begin your painting at the event and will take it home to complete it in my studio. It takes about 6-8 weeks to complete a painting, which includes drying time.

The cost will vary based on the size of the painting, the length of the live event, the number of figures in the painting, and the desired level of detail. I provide example rates below, but contact me for a quote tailored to your event!

You might consider if you want your painting framed. Do you prefer a minimalist, modern aesthetic without a frame? Or a more traditional look with a frame? While I don't provide framing services, I can certainly recommend options!

FAQ​
​
​How many individuals can be in a single watercolor painting?​
I use different sized paper based on the number of individuals in a painting. For paintings with 1-3 individuals, I typically use a 5" x 7" paper, whereas a painting with 6-8 individuals typically requires 9" x 12" paper. 8-10 individuals is usually the maximum in a single painting.

​How do I secure you for my wedding?​
Please contact me to discuss the details of your event. If you are happy with my proposal, you'll approve a contract and 30% non-refundable retainer. The remainder will be due two weeks prior to your event. If there are any costs based on final guest count, I'll confirm those with you after the event. Final payment will be due before mailing the finished paintings back to you.

Will you travel outside of the Pittsburgh region?
I'm happy to travel for your event! My rates include travel within 40 miles of my studio, and I charge the standard government mileage rate beyond that. Depending on the distance to the event and how late it is scheduled, a lodging and accommodation fee may also apply. I'd also love to discuss destination weddings.

Do you stay in one location for the event?
I can move during the event, if needed, but changing locations can take 15-20 minutes away from painting portraits.
